California regulators took step one towards launching an interstate hashish market by formally asking Lawyer Basic Rob Bonta to weigh the legal responsibility dangers of such a transfer.
In a letter dated Friday and launched publicly on Monday, Nicole Elliott, director of the Division of Hashish Management, argued that permitting hashish gross sales amongst licensing states wouldn’t pose a major authorized menace to California, although marijuana possession and distribution stay unlawful underneath the federal Managed Substances Act.
